🌼 About Libertroph Magazine
Libertroph is a collection of art and stories about white anti-racist organizing efforts past and present. It is a reckoning with what white culture is and what exists beyond it. And it is an invitation for more white people to take up the life-giving work of anti-racist organizing.

🌼 Time and Compensation
The Literary Editor’s role would require more time investment at key moments in the magazine production process. For 2026, candidates can expect the following:
- March - May: approximately 3-5 hours per week, focused on editing and contributor communication plus a bi-weekly call with the Editor in Chief
- If the initial editing support phase goes well for both the Literary Editor and Libertroph team, there’s an opportunity to continue supporting the magazine, approximately 1-3 hours per week, focused on researching and sourcing content, and meeting with the Libertroph team monthly to co-create future issues
The Libertroph team is made up of volunteers who do not receive financial compensation for our work. Yet, we share an abundance of resources among one another, including:
- continual learning and human development
